Jamie Jones: Punk's agent says situation is 'tricky'

Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: With WWE “Raw” emanating from Chicago this past Monday, fans were buzzing about the possible return of C.M. Punk.

After all, Chicago is his hometown. What better way to make his long-awaited return about a month out from Wrestlemania?

He didn’t show up.

Punk went AWOL from WWE just after the “Royal Rumble.” Some reports said he was upset with the direction of his character while others believed his absence was part of an angle. So far, Punk has remained quiet along with most of the WWE locker room. But in an interview with the United Kingdom’s Sky Sports, Fandango offered a bit of insight into Punk’s future.

“It’s a tricky situation, I don’t really know a lot about it, but we are looking forward to Wrestlemania coming up in April, so anything can happen,” Fandango told Sky Sports.
