Jamie Jones: WWE retains Diva Emma

Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: Emma was gone. Now she’s back. WWE released Emma this week after she was arrested for shoplifting at a Wal-Mart in Hartford Conn.

But the organization also quickly brought her back.

“Upon further evaluation, WWE has reinstated Tenille Dashwood (WWE Diva Emma) but will take appropriate punitive action for her violation of the law,” according to a WWE statement.

• Bad timing for Wade Barrett. The former WWE Intercontinental champion will be out of action for several months after undergoing “ligament reconstruction” in his shoulder.

• John Cena will appear on the cover of the “WWE 2K15” video game.

The Local Corner: Renegade Championship Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 806 Second Ave. in Chatsworth.

Trivia Teaser: During his days in the Memphis territory, Hillbilly Jim used this name.

Check back next week for the answer.
