Jamie Jones: Rumors, exits and returns in WWE

— Here are the notes and news items from the world of pro wrestling: Rumors are still swirling that Goldberg will appear at Wrestlemania 2014 to wrestle in one final match.

• Ted DiBiase has left WWE. He broke the news in a YouTube video posted this week. DiBiase did not give a reason for his departure, only saying he decided not to re-sign with WWE.

“I’m not saying this is forever,” DiBiase said. “And hopefully there will be some good times in the future, too. We’ll see. But until then, I’m going fishing.”

• Jerry “The King” Lawler will wrestle on Sept. 7 in Covington, Tenn. The match marks almost one year since Lawler suffered a heart attack live on WWE “Raw.”
