Dalton wins at LaFayette

Emily Harbin had two aces and one kill to help lead Dalton past LaFayette, 25-21, 25-11, Tuesday night at LaFayette in high school volleyball action.

Also helping the Lady Catamounts’ cause was Emily Broadrick with two aces, nine kills and four blocks. Emily Clark added 12 assists and Daniela Molinar had a block and a kill.

• Emilia Dover had seven digs, five blocks and two aces to lead the Lady Indians of Murray County over Gilmer 25-17, 26-28, 25-23. Amanda Suttles added six aces, six kills and four blocks, Megan Elder had two digs, two blocks, an ace and eight kills, Keri Dixon had two aces, Mirely Cabral had • On Monday, Suttles had four aces, five blocks, four digs and three spikes as the Lady Indians beat Rome 26-24, 25-17.

Cabral added 11 assists with two aces and Dover had seven assists.

• Janelle Munguia was credited with seven aces, Shanda Crowe had four kills and Diana Pulido added eight assists in Murray County’s 25-22, 25-18 • • Murray defeated Gilmer 25-21, 25-16 and was led by Breanna Whaley’s three kills and one ace. Stephanie Douthitt added two kills and Diana Pulido had two digs.
