Smith wins twice at NGS

Jeff Smith was a double winner Saturday night at North Georgia Speedway, sweeping the checkered flags in the Limited Late Model and Crate Late Model races on a full night of action at the Murray County dirt track.

Other winners were Bruce Kimber (Pony), Michael Readen (Econo Hobby), John Parker (Sportsman) and Randy Walston (Modified Hobby).

In the Pony race, Kimber came in ahead of Matt Leonard, Lamar Cooke, James Nichols and Andy Winkler. In the Econo Hobby race, Readen was followed by Ralph Langston, Keith Wilson, Brent Clark and Jake Pilgrim.

In the Sportsman race, Parker beat out Darrell Owenby, Mark Bishop, Grady Stokes and Caleb Boling. In the Modified Hobby race, Walston’s finished ahead of Caleb Howard, James Maddox, Mike Franks and Derek Chapman.

In the Limited Late Model race, Smith was followed by Jason Welshan, Johnny Cloer, Heath Hindman and Ruben Mayfield. In the Crate Late Model race, the top five was rounded out by Aaron Ridley, Kenny Kizzar, Kolby Kilgore and Dustin Goldman.
