Rampage hit the road; home game Thursday

After nearly a month, the Georgia Rampage will have the chance today to shake off their season-opening loss.

Dalton’s indoor professional football team kicks off at 7 p.m. EDT against the host St. Louis Attack, who will be playing their first game of the 2014 X-League season.

The Rampage lost 44-43 to the visiting Alabama Outlawz on March 3 at the trade center in the first game for the new five-team league, which incorporates an array of scoring quirks that include double points during the final minute of games and extra points for defensive stops and scores. The Rampage and Attack were members last year of the Ultimate Indoor Football League along with the Florida Marine Raiders, whom the Rampage host at 7 p.m. Thursday.
