Jamie Jones: Payback is coming for WWE fans

Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: The June WWE pay-per-view is titled “Pay-back.”

The action is set for June 16 in Chicago.

• Goldberg took to Twitter to quash a ru-mor posted on the social network that he would appear at Wrestle-mania 29.

• The Rock wants to be in the new “Star Wars” movies.

The Local Corner: Action continues at TWA.

TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. The TWA Action Zone runs at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets for all shows are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 years and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.

Action continues at RCW.

Among matches from this past Saturday night: Big Red Adams defeated “Cowboy” Paul Thomas to qualify for the No Limits Championship Tourn-ament; Adrian Guerrero turned back Antonio Thunder; D’Andre Jaxson and Rick Hayes topped Chris Hart and Joey Idol; Jason Fear defeated Aaron G to qualify for the No Limits Champion-ship Tournament; Tiffany Dod-son beat Lindsey Lambert.

RCW runs Saturday nights at 8 at 806 2nd Ave. in Chatsworth.
