Boggs signs with ChiSox

Dalton native Mitchell Boggs has found a new Major League Baseball team.

Boggs, a 2002 Dalton High School graduate, has signed a one-year, $1.1 million deal with the Chicago White Sox.

This is Boggs’ third MLB team. He won a World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011 and was traded to the Colorado Rockies last season.
