Dolphins win at home, improve to 3-1

The Dalton Dolphins beat Tennessee’s Stuart Heights 413-344 Monday night in Chattanooga Area Swim League competition at the Dalton Parks and Recreation Department’s John Davis Recreation Center.

Henry Bethel, Taylor Dale and Roman Valdez each scored the maximum 19 individual points to lead the Dolphins, who improved to 3-1. Reece Bingham, Jacob Queen, Raul Valdez and Ethan Young each chipped in 17 points.

Other double-digit scorers for the Dolphins were: Abby O’Ferrall (16 points); Alex Mashburn, Hollie Porter and Alexis Vaughn (15); Patrick Calderon (13); Will Haley, Sean Lee, Ellie Lyles, Ethan Pence and Emilio Valdez (12); Anthony Calderon, Julian Hernandez, Lindsey Mulkey, Juseth Ramos (11); and Kelly Mashburn (10).

The Dolphin return to competition with a road meet Thursday against Tennessee’s Ooltewah Tidal Waves.
