Registration open for Georgia Four-Ball Championship

Registration is open for the 43rd edition of the Georgia Four-Ball Championship, which will be held April 25-27 at Cartersville Country Club.

This Georgia State Golf Association event is open to two-man teams of male amateur golfers with the lowest combined USGA Handicap Indexes. The format is 54 holes of four-ball stroke play, with the field cut to the low 40 teams and ties after 36 holes. The field will consist of up to 80 teams.

Eligible players must enter online at gsga.org by April 2. Entries are also being accepted for the Georgia Four-Ball Tournament and the Georgia Mid-Amateur Championship through March 5 and the Georgia Super Senior Championship through March 12.

    Coahulla Creek High School’s boys golf team finished second in the Region 5-3A tournament at Calhoun’s Fields Ferry Golf Course on Thursday, but now the Colts will have to wait to see if they will advance to the Class 2A state sectional tournament.
