Jamie Jones: Jericho out of ring a while

Here are the notes and news items from the world of pro wrestling: Chris Jericho indicated via Twitter that his match at “Smackdown” this week will be his last of the year with WWE. He is embarking on a European tour with his band Fozzy.

• Randy Orton suffered a neck injury during his “Smackdown” match. The official diagnosis is a “cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia.”

TNA goings: Luke Gallows and Tara have left the organization.

The Local Corner: TWA Friday Night Brawl is at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 will be admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.

Renegade Champion-ship Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 806 Second Ave. in Chats-worth.
