Here are the notes and news items from the world of pro wrestling: The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) may be getting a television show on HBO.
• In other Rock news, his movie “Pain & Gain” drew $20 million and the top spot in the movie rankings this past week.
• C.M. Punk returns to WWE “Raw” on May 27.
• Yahoo and WWE have struck a deal. Beginning this summer, Yahoo will air a 30-minute “Raw” pre-show.
Also, the online giant will have a dedicated hub for WWE videos.
The Local Corner: TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 will be admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.
Renegade Champion-ship Wrestling runs at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 806 Second Ave. in Chatsworth.
