DSC tennis sweeps at SCAD-Atlanta

Dalton State College men’s and women’s tennis teams picked up 5-4 victories over Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta on Friday at the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center in Atlanta.

Dalton State’s men, who improved to 4-2, were up 2-1 after doubles play and split singles to hold on for the win. The women, who are now 3-2, trailed 2-1 after doubles and rallied by taking four of the six singles matches.

SCAD-Atlanta’s women won the Appalachian Athletic Conference title last season and are ranked 15th in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics poll.
