— Chatsworth’s Sue King is among the final four players in the first flight bracket at the Georgia State Golf Association’s Senior Women’s Match Play Championship.

King beat Resaca’s Rochelle Weaver 1 up in match play in Monday’s quarterfinals at Sunset Hills Country Club in Carrollton. King will face Sharpsburg’s Ellen Connors in this morning’s semifinals, with the winner advancing to Wednesday’s title match against the winner of the other semifinal between Canton’s Kathy Gross and Columbus’ Karen Stewart.

In the fourth flight bracket quarterfinals, Cohutta’s Ysleta Morgan — the only other local player listed in results released by the GSGA — was eliminated as she lost to Calhoun’s Margaret Padgett, 2 up.
