Jamie Jones: Remember the NWO!

Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: The band is getting back together. Former New World Order (NWO) members Buff Bagwell, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Scott Norton, Scott Steiner, Vincent and Sean Waltman are expected to appear this weekend at Alamo City Comic Con in San Antonio, Texas.

• Lex Luger, who has made frequent visits to Dalton as a motivational speaker, wrote a book titled “Wrestling with the Devil: The True Story of a World Champion Professional Wrestler — His Reign, Ruin and Redemption.” Forbes.com interviewed Luger about his career and asked him how drugs and alcohol affected his life.

“Probably the main take-away is that sooner or later, you make better choices,” he told the website. “Have you ever heard the analogy of the frog in a kettle pot? You put a frog in a kettle pot and gradually turn up the temperature until they actually boil themselves and they never jump out even though they could because the temperature’s turned up gradually. For me and a lot of guys in that business, it became a thing, where, you drank a little more and took two more pills. In the end, drugs and alcohol always win.”

• Chris Jericho stars in a new Internet comedy series called “But I’m Chris Jericho.” The show debuts Tuesday.

The Local Corner: Renegade Championship Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 806 Second Ave. in Chatsworth.

Trivia Teaser: What was Raven’s stable of wrestlers in ECW called?

Check back next week for the answer.

Last week’s question: Rick Steiner serves on the board of education for which Georgia school system?
