ROME — Leo Hickman, editor and consumer expert at the Guardian newspaper in London, England, will present “Can one person really make a difference?” at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24, in the Berry College science auditorium. He is speaking as part of Berry’s Conson C. Wilson Lectureship Program. Admission is free and open to the public.
A columnist, author and editor, Hickman’s books include "A Life Stripped Bare: My Year Trying to Live Ethically," "A Good Life: The Guide to Ethical Living" and "The Final Call. In Search of the True Cost of Our Holidays." He resides in London with his wife, two children and 3,000 worms.
The Conson C. Wilson Lectureship Program was created to bring scholars of national and international renown to the Berry campus. The program bears the name of a longtime Berry friend whose estate included a bequest to endow this lecture series. Lecturers this academic year have included Maya Angelou and Tyler Cowen.
