Woman accused in husband’s death to be in court

DECATUR — A woman accused of arranging for her husband to be killed outside a suburban Atlanta preschool is set to appear for what is likely her last pre-trial court hearing.

Andrea Sneiderman is due to appear in court Friday afternoon for a hearing on whether the state will be allowed to hear about out-of-court statements that the man convicted of killing her husband is alleged to have made to a confidant.

Sneiderman is accused of arranging for her former boss, Hemy Neuman, kill her husband, Russell “Rusty” Sneiderman outside a Dunwoody preschool in November 2010.

She is accused of murder, lying to police, lying under oath and hindering an investigation. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

Jury selection in her trial is set to begin Monday.
