Family offers $10,000 reward in slaying of DJ

— The family of a slain Atlanta nightclub DJ is offering a big reward for information leading to his killer.

WSB-TV reports the family of William Fernando Barnes and Georgia club owners have put together a $10,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest. Barnes, also known as DJ Nando, was fatally shot Tuesday outside his home after he left Club Onyx. Clayton County police are investigating.

Police say whoever shot 38-year-old Barnes left all of his valuables at the scene and ran away. His mother, Gloria Barnes, says she’s stunned by the loss.

Family and friends of Barnes were scheduled to gather for a wake Saturday at Donald Trimble Mortuary in Decatur.
