MACON — Authorities say a 17-year-old boy was shot to death after a fight led to gunfire outside a nightclub in Macon.

Police say the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Friday in the downtown area of the central Georgia city.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones said Jamonni Bland was killed in the parking garage near the Zodiac Lounge at the River View Ballroom.

Three others were wounded in the shooting, The Telegraph of Macon reported (http://bit.ly/12q28je ). Jones said the victims included 21-year-old Deion Davis, who was critically hurt with six gunshot wounds.

Authorities say 30-year-old Andre Bonner was shot in the neck. The third victim, 25-year-old Steven Billue, was shot in the left shoulder.

All three of the wounded people were being treated at hospitals.

Gary Lester, a veteran’s advocate who lives and works at the River View Hotel, said he fled the lounge when the fight started. He said he watched a man retrieve a weapon from a car outside before the gunman headed back in the nightclub.

“I saw the guy put the clip in the gun and I ran upstairs in my office and called 911,” Lester told The Telegraph. “I told police, ‘Send somebody quick!’ Bullets flying, I know they heard the shots.”

Lester said he heard about 20 shots as he was on the phone with dispatchers.

“I said, ‘Look, I’ve got to hang up,’ and I hit the floor,” Lester said.
