Chambliss statement on the release of Benghazi emails

Submitted by the office of Sen. Chambliss

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, today made the following statement regarding the release of the Benghazi emails by the White House:

“I am glad to see that the executive branch decided to release the Benghazi talking-point paper trail today. I have been pushing for the release of this paper trail for weeks and wrote Director Clapper today asking for their release. The American people deserve to know the truth about what failures caused the death of four Americans."
