Hannah Joseph, daughter of Paul and Anna Joseph, and Benjamin Oliver, son of Chuck and Gloria Oliver, were married on May 30, 2009, at Salem Baptist Church. The afternoon ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Edwin Puckett and the Bride's father, the Reverend Paul Joseph.
The ceremony opened with prelude music played by pianist Nancy Colvin and flautist Karen McKerihan. Floral arrangements were created by Jean Danzler and included white and peach roses. James Casto and Carol Ford provided vocal and piano music during the ceremony. Curtis Cox of CLC Photography served as the wedding photographer.
The Bride was attired in a strapless A-line gown with an overlay of dotted swiss lace. Sarah Joseph and Anna Joseph, the Bride's sister and mother, served as the Maid and Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Leigh Graham, Brinkley Knowles, Annette McKerihan, Alice Oliver, Erin Hicks and MaryAnn Twitty. Each wore a knee-length satin dress in the shade of clover green. The bridal party also included Honorary Bridesmaids Melissa Hart, Sarah McMurry, Samantha Bearden and Megan Blevins.
Shane Ludwick performed the duties of Best Man. Groomsmen were Devin Mahan, Will Carlton, Ryan Moot, Will Ward, Travis Case and Brent Neas. Corbin and Stone Nicholson served as the flower girl and ring bearer. Usher for the ceremony were Greg Hicks, Jonathan Colvin, Tommy Ward, Franky Ward, Wes McDowell and Michael Webb.
On the eve of the wedding a rehearsal dinner was held at Los Reyes as a time of celebration with family and friends of the Bride and Groom. A reception was held following the ceremony at Central Community Church. The couple left the church in a restored red 1957 Chevy Bel-Air coupe. Since their return from their trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Dalton.
