Wilkes, Jiles

Wilkes,

Jiles

Brittney Ne’Cole Wilkes of Dalton and Phillip Bernard Jiles of Carrollton were united in marriage June 27, 2009, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Carrollton. The 6 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Bob Vincent.

The bride is the daughter of Sissy and Stacy Warmack of Dalton and the late Ricky Wilkes. The groom is the son of Earl Jiles of Carrollton and the late Alice Jiles.

The ceremony opened with prelude music played by pianist Will Whittaker. Mr. Ward Satterfield was the soloist during the ceremony who sang the “Lord’s Prayer” and “I Will Be There.”

The bride was escorted by her brother, Chris Wilkes, and was given in marriage by her parents. She was attired in an Oleg Cassini gown. The strapless satin bodice was embroidered with pearls, crystals, bugle beads and rhinestones. The beaded embroidery accented the organza ball gown skirt and chapel train. The two-tier fingertip veil was adorned with a beaded edge and floral motifs. The bride’s bouquet was a white romantic mix of lily of the valley, lisianthus and arianna roses with a touch of pink bouvardia all hand tied with white satin ribbon.

Mary Jane Pennington of Atlanta served as the maid of honor. Kirbey Broom of Carrollton served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Melinda Bellemare of Carrollton, Megan Brennan of Kennesaw, Megan Georgia of Dahlonega, Ilie Morrison of Newnan, and Laura Warmack of Dalton, cousin of the bride.

The bridal attendants were attired in black satin, strapless A-line gowns with pewter satin sashes tied at the waist. The sashes were accented with vintage rhinestone brooches, gifts from the bride. They carried bouquets of Casablanca lilies.

Caroline Monaco of Woodbridge, Va., cousin of the bride, served as the flower girl.

Donny Hightower of Carrollton and Jason Staples of Kentucky performed the duties of best men. Groomsmen were Russ Brannon, Andy Broome, Bryan Joswick and Scott Joswick, all of Carrollton and Chris Wilkes of Florida, brother of the bride.
