Northwest Whitfield 9th-graders rout Raiders

Three players on Northwest Whitfield’s freshmen boys basketball team reached double-digit scoring Saturday in a 75-20 win against intracounty rival Southeast Whitfield.

Blake Bryson scored 14 points to lead the Bruins, who improved to 7-5 this season with the win.

Also helping Northwest on the scoring sheet was Will Blanchard with 13 points. Tanner Boyd’s 10 points rounded out the trio of offensive threats against the Raiders.
