Spring football on the ‘After Deadline’ menu

This week on “After Deadline,” The Daily Citizen sports writers Devin Golden and Chris Whitfield discuss the upcoming spring practices for local high school football teams and what coaches and fans can look for from the gridiron appetizer.

They also talk about the Northwest Whitfield baseball team’s first-round exit from the Class 4A state playoffs and why players and coaches being disappointed is a positive mindset for the program to reach greater heights. The “Food for Fought” segment also continues.

The weekly podcast is free for download and posted at noon each Wednesday at daltonnow.com.
