Jamie Jones: TWA welcoming fans back for reunion show

The band is getting back together. The Tri-Star Wrestling Association holds its inaugural reunion show tonight at 8 at the Renegade Championship Wrestling Arena.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and kids 6 and under are admitted free.

TWA closed its doors earlier this year after more than 20 years. Plenty of former TWA wrestlers are expected at the Friday night show, including The Big Wood, Johnny Quaz and The Widowmaker. There are sure to be plenty of other familiar faces from TWA’s history in attendance.

The RCW Arena is at 806 Second Ave. in Chatsworth.

The Local Corner: Renegade Championship Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 806 Second Ave. in Chatsworth.

Southern Style Pro Wrestling is at 8 p.m. Saturdays at 4484 Highway 411 N. next to Eton Flea Market near the Ferris wheel. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and older and free for children 12 and younger.

Trivia Teaser: On what program did Andre The Giant make his last U.S. television appearance?

Check back next week for the answer.

The previous question: Who won the WWE Royal Rumble in 1989?

“Big” John Studd

Jamie Jones, a true TWA legend in his own mind, can’t attend tonight’s reunion. He has to work. You can contact him at jamiejones@daltoncitizen.com or (706) 272-7723.
