Cruz has lone score as Rebels fall at home

The Dalton Rebel Lacrosse team fell 16-1 to Chattanooga’s McCallie on Tuesday in Dalton’s home opener at Lakeshore Park.

This is the second year of Rebel Lacrosse, a Dalton Parks and Recreation Department program, and the team is mainly made up of sixth- and seventh-graders.

Sebastian Cruz had the lone goal of the game for the Rebels (1-1), while goalie Jack Sander-son made 13 saves.
