Rebel lacrosse middle school team ends season with split

The Dalton Rebel middle school lacrosse team earned a 4-3 win Saturday against Soddy Daisy to end the 2014 season. The team followed with a 4-3 loss to FCA Chattanooga.

In the first game, Sebastain Cruz scored twice. Adrian Cruz and D.J. Hutchinson each scored once, while Zane Gowin made three saves. In the second game, Sebastain Cruz scored twice and Jack Sanderson scored once. Gowin made five saves for the Rebels, who finished the schedule 3-4.

“This was a great experience for the team just being a second-year program,” Rebels coach Mike Sanderson said. “We’re only going to get stronger.”
